Employee & Organizational Development (EOD) offers several targeted certificate programs to help employees enhance their current skills and develop new ones. Our current programs are briefly described below. Click on the title of each program for more information.
To register for a certificate program, review the information about that program to determine if it is right for you and then click on the “registration” link on the program page to fill out the electronic form. The Desktop Publishing Certificate Program is designed to help participants learn to create professional publications for print and web, such as: flyers, brochures, newsletters, magazines, books/booklets and more.
The Graphics and Illustration Certificate Program is designed to help participants learn to create professional graphics for print and web projects.
The Microsoft Office Essentials Certificate Program is designed to help each participant gain an understanding of the individual programs in the Microsoft Office suite of programs and how the tools and data can be shared across the range of programs.
The Microsoft Office Advanced Certificate Program is designed to focus on the advanced tools and commands of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
In the Web Development Certificate Program, participants will learn how to create and modify static web pages. In addition, common graphics editing software will be explored, so participants will have the ability to create and edit graphics for web use.
The Fundamentals of Office Administration I Program is designed for Texas A&M office professionals who are interested in developing new or enhancing current skills, learning the latest trends and technology, and increasing their productivity.
The Fundamentals of Office Administration II Program is designed to assist all Texas A&M office professionals with keeping their competitive edge in today’s environment.
The Constructive Communication in the Workplace certificate program (CCW) offers participants an opportunity to build advanced communication skills that will allow them to more confidently transmit information, express ideas and listen effectively in their daily interactions, and engage in courageous conversations that may occur when conflict arises.
The intent of this program is to enhance Texas A&M's work climate by increasing employees' ability to work effectively with others within a diverse environment.
This program is designed to help employees develop better self-leadership skills and improve their overall professional effectiveness.
This certificate program, formerly named Principles of Supervision & Management, focuses on how the behavior of managers and supervisors is impacted by laws, policies, regulations, rules and procedures.
This program emphasizes the essential day-to-day skills all supervisors must have to effectively interact with their employees and create a productive work environment.
