Behavioral indicators of Organizational Compliance & Safety include:

  • Performs job in a manner that minimizes hazards to¬†oneself, others, and the work environment.
  • Maintains a physical work environment that contributes to the well-being of others.
  • Follows applicable work, health, and environmental procedures and policies.
  • Demonstrates appropriate use of and respect for university property and equipment.
  • Complies with the organization's policies, regulations, rules and procedures.

  • Stress the importance of safety at all times and model appropriate safety practices.
  • Model follow through of organizational compliance and safety training and practices.
  • Reinforce security measures to protect unauthorized access to employee, student and operational information.
  • Provide immediate feedback when policies and procedures are not followed.
  • Provide rewards for appropriate safety compliance.
